My name is Melanie Maslaniec and I am a Canadian artisan living in Manitoba with my husband an my two dogs. My workshop is a room upstairs in my Victorian home. I have many things that I love to do but I have a special love for fabrics and I do a lot of sewing. I also love making metal jewelery, upholstery and upcyling, and painting.

I work outside of the home in an interior decorating place, where I have learned so much more about fabrics and what you can do with them. I’ve come to appreciate what soft furnishings can do to uplift someones home. I enjoy helping people pick out fabrics for their projects.

My creative journey keeps moving forward and I continue to learn new things. I hope to create things that inspire and uplift.
