You’ll see that most of the items in our shop revolve around memories; either making them or preserving them. This was not the intention when I first started this shop. To be honest, I had no intention at all. I liked wood working and laser engraving seemed like a fun thing to try.

Over time, I realized that most of the items I make evolved towards items that encouraged family time, preserving memories or remembering those we had lost. Our Family Night Game box evolved out of hours at the cottage spending time looking for cards and pencils or paper so games of rummy could be played.

The memory box I first made after my Mom passed away and my Dad wanted to know if I could engrave a box with something she had written him in a card. It was just a simple box to store photos, but it was one of the most important things I had built.

Urns came about the same way. When my father in law passed we were at the funeral home and I could not believe how expensive they were. The urns were very nice and more ornate that what I build, but they were so horribly expensive. Enough goes on when someone passes and the mantra at the funeral home was to sell sell sell. I also like that fact that we can personalized urns with cards written from loved ones, hand written notes that held meaning when the person was alive, or even tattoos created together by a husband and wife.

The personalized urns and personalized memory boxes have become the most important thing I make and the thing I get the most satisfaction from building. I tend not to post pictures of urns as they are very personal. In the review section you will find some that people posted themselves.
