Kevin Graham is a first nations creative designer operating from Thunder Bay, Ontario. Kevin grew up in isolation living on a lighthouse beyond the reach of civilization on the Southeast side of the Sleeping Giant on Lake Superior for 9 months of every year until age 14 when the lighthouse was automated and his family moved permanently to Thunder Bay.

The lake is “IN” Kevin’s blood and every time life took him to different parts of Canada and the United States, he would inevitably return to the North shore of Lake superior from a longing described as a migratory urge to return.

Kevin’s designs originate from the lifestyle of self dependence that was ingrained in him from the isolated upbringing where everything had to be done without outside assistance or services to help. The “Jack of all trades” mentality led to never specializing in a specific form of design and instead led to dabbling and experimenting in everything Kevin could get access to.

Graduating on the Presidents list with a Diploma in Graphic Design, Kevin founded FolioGraphic working on logos, publications, digital materials and brand development. Kevin transitioned to front-end and back-end web site/app development and then on to the many other design challenges he discovered over the years.

Currently Kevin is happier working in a more creative manner on design in art, jewelry and fashion accessories and has also created a natural and healthy line of personal care products under the brand SLOB (Soaps, Lotions, Oils & Balms) with liquid foam hand/body soap, lip balms, deodorant and more all using regionally sourced, natural ingredients like Manitoba hemp seed oil.
