Description
1855 English fusee, highly jewelled and of quality construction. This movement is in great condition containing 15 jewels (diamond end stone on the balance bridge) and bi metallic large balance wheel. Very fine quality at the time, possibly capable of railroad use. The watch has been fully disassembled , cleaned, oiled, and is working perfectly.
Sterling silver case is in good shape, warn, but no significant age marks. lift spring for the back cover is broken but the cover opens easy with a press of the crown button and lifting with your finger.
Complete with original dust cover.
Wonderful original and beautifully blue steel hands
Dial is in good shape but a few hairlines coming from 11 o’clock going downwards.
Original glass crystal in great shape, a few interior edge chips at 6 o’clock.
Comes with a key for winding and setting the watch
Watch measures 50mm in diameter and 18mm thick
This watch is working perfect. Comes with a Hallicra’s Works modular watch display case kit “carriage clock” style, designed and made in our shop and easy to assemble. Color can be requested Silver or Gold. Watch is clean and ready to be used every day.
