Each board is hand made and has it's own unique beauty. Small imperfections are normal.
Charcuterie boards are not intended to be used as cutting boards. They are serving platters. They can be washed in warp soapy water. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads or harsh cleaners, as this can effect the finish and wood. After washing, pat the board dry with a clean cloth. Avoid letting the board air dry or soaking in ater, as prolonged exposure to moisture can harm the wood. Each board comes with a sample of my food safe beeswax and mineral oil, which can be applied with a soft cloth. If the board becomes damaged, you can simply sand the board and apply a fresh coat of food safe beeswax and mineral oil.
